The loop
- A viewer posts a bounty for the part they need. Other viewers pledge toward it.
- You claim the bounty and build the solution on camera.
- You submit the files and add your YouTube video to the solution page.
- When the poster accepts, every pledge is charged directly to your Stripe account with a 0% platform fee.

Viewers fund you directly
Each pledge is a separate charge made directly to your connected Stripe account when the bounty's solution is accepted, with application_fee_amount set to 0. Nobody is charged before then. If the bounty is cancelled, every pledge is released. The poster cannot also be the solver, so a bounty always starts from someone else's request.
Your video stays yours
The solution page embeds your YouTube video using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie player. Nothing is re-uploaded or re-hosted, so views count on your channel.
A verified creator profile
Your creator profile lists your solutions and your channel. To verify the channel, you add a short code to your public YouTube channel page, and the site checks for it; there is no OAuth grant and no access to your account.
Tools that send people back to your channel
- A description link kit: ready-made links for your profile, each bounty you have claimed and each published solution, to paste into video descriptions.
- Share cards: a generated image for bounty and solution links, so they look right when posted.
- An embeddable bounty widget: an iframe you can put on your own site to show a bounty's progress. It sets no cookies.
- Ad-free analytics: visits through your kit links, grouped by source, visible only to you.
Privacy of your viewers
Kit links record one row per visit: your creator id, the three UTM fields and the target page. They set no cookie, and store no IP address or user agent. There are no third-party analytics and no ads.
What is live today, and what is not
This is a young marketplace, so here is exactly where it stands. Bounties are posted, pledged to and accepted in the MakeBounty app, backed by the same API this site uses. Each bounty and each solution has a public page here. Catalogue checkout with the published split is built in the API; a purchase control on the public solution page is not live yet. Print-on-demand fulfilment is not live yet either: today you receive design files, not a manufactured part.

How do my viewers fund a build?

Does the platform take a cut of viewer funding?
No. Bounty pledges are charged with a 0% platform fee. Stripe's own processing fee is the only deduction.
